KAAB / Introduction 건축학 교육인증 소개
경희대학교의 건축학사 학위는 한국건축학교육인증원(KAAB)이 제시하는 인증기준을 준수하고 건축학교육 전문학위 인증을 취득한 프로그램으로서, 캔버라협약 (Canberra Accord) 인증기관들과 유네스코 세계건축가연맹(UNESCO - UIA), 건축학교육인증기구(UVCAE)가 동시에 인정하는 전문학위 프로그램이다.
인증받은 건축학교육 전문학위 취득을 등록 건축사의 필수 자격요건으로 명시하고 있으며, 이것이 국제적 추세이다. (www.kaab.or.kr) 국내 건축학교육 전문학위 과정은 교육기관의 선택에 의해 5년제 전문학위 학부과정 또는 2년제 이상의 전문학위 석사과정으로 운영되며, 지속적 인증유지를 위해 정기적으로 인증심사를 받아야한다.
한국건축학교육인증원은 인증기준을 바탕으로 정기적 인증심사를 수행하며, 결과에 따라 6년 인증, 4년 인증, 조건부 3년 인증, 인증 유예 및 거부 판정을 받을 수 있다. 경희대학교의 건축학사 학위의 다음 인증심사는 2022년도에 실시될 예정이다.
The Bachelor of Architecture Program of the Department of Architecture at Kyung Hee University fully complies with the provisions of the procedures and conditions of the KAAB. Our program offers a professional degree, a bachelor of architecture, accredited by the KAAB, a signatory member of the Canberra Accord and a recognized organization by UNESCO-UIA Validation Council for Architectural Education.
The accredited degree is a mandatory requirement to satisfy the eligibility for qualification examination for architectural practice. Programs for professional degrees in Korea are either a 5-year undergraduate professional degree program or a 2-plus year masters professional degree program. The accreditation status of these programs must be maintained through periodic accreditation visits conducted according to KAAB Conditions and Procedures.
The terms of accreditation offered as a result of an accreditation visit include full 6-Year Accreditation, 4-Year Accreditation, 3-Year Conditional Accreditation, Rejection/Revocation of Accreditation and Temporary Termination of Accreditation. The next accreditation visit for bachelor degree offered by our program is scheduled to take place in the year of 2022.
